Through this plan we believe we can make Lacombe County one of the best places to live while also ensuring that the County is a great place to work.
Recognizing that Lacombe County is fast approaching a major cross-road as it continues to grow and mature, County Council and Administration developed a  Strategic Plan to chart the course of the County over the next three to five years.

What is the Strategic Plan?

The Strategic Plan is a living document that will be monitored and reviewed annually to ensure that we are implementing the plan and adjusting it as needed to meet the evolving changes of life within the county.

How was the plan developed?
|
The Strategic Plan process began by answering the following questions:
- Where do we want to be in the future?
- How do we know if we are on track?
- Where are we at today?
- What changes do we need to implement to close the gap between where we are and where we want to be?
- What's happening around us that will impact our plan?
