Public Works FAQ

I live in the county. I want to build an approach to my residence or want a field approach. What do I have to do? Does it cost something for someone to come out and look at it?
You want to call Dale Kary (403) 304-0424 (cell phone) or email: dkary@lacombecounty.com and he will set up a time to meet with you to take a look at either your residential or field approach with you. He checks things like site lines, culvert requirements, or placement of the approach to the road. No. There is no charge for the ratepayer to have Dale come out and check the approach location for you. He also gives you a diagram for a typical driveway approach on a county road.
