Lacombe County & urban municipalities working together to protect our environment

Lacombe County and the Towns of Lacombe, Bentley and Eckville, along with the Village of Alix have signed agreements that allows for County residents to drop off recyclable materials at the urban facilities. In turn, the County has agreed to help fund a portion of the recycling operation in the Towns and Village.

The spirit of cooperation between the urban centers and Lacombe County is just another example of these municipalities working together for the benefit of all area residents. The partnership also allows for the elimination of duplication of facilities and manpower and a consolidation of services.

All Lacombe County residents are encouraged to take advantage of the recycling services provided in these urban centers and help reduce the waste being hauled to the landfill.
