CONSTRUCTION NOTICE | Road Projects on Township Road 41-0 and Range Road 26-2

Lacombe County is notifying residents of two upcoming road construction projects starting on May 1, 2024
- Township Road 41-0 (west on Township Road 41-0 from Range Road 1-1 to Range Road 1-2 for one mile)
- Range Road 26-2 (north from Milton Road for one mile)
Construction for both projects will start Wednesday, May 1, and take +/- 3 weeks to complete (weather permitting).
Please drive with caution around construction crews, and obey all signs.

Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors, together with AECOM, are hosting a public open house to share information about the Highway 20 Twinning Functional Planning Study between Highway 11 and Highway 12. Bylaw change to allow second dwellings on Agricultural ‘A’ District parcels 10 acres or larger

After carefully considering feedback received from the community at the public hearing, County Council gave second and third reading (final adoption) to Bylaws 1406/24 and 1407/24. These bylaw changes allow a second dwelling on Agricultural ‘A’ District parcels 10 acres or larger.
Previously, the County’s regulations allowed two dwellings only on parcels of at least 40 acres in the Agricultural ‘A’ District. This bylaw change now opens up the possibility of a second residence on parcels 10 acres...

In a move that aligns with its financial planning and policy commitments, Lacombe County has officially approved the tax rates for the year 2024, as outlined in the 2024 Tax Rate Bylaw. This comes after the completion of the property assessments for 2024 and the release of the year's provincial requisitions.
