Highway 2 and Hwy 12 Signal Installation

Effective March 21, 2023
Lane closure and reduced speed limits due to new traffic signal installation on the east and west intersection of Highway 2 ramps and Highway 12. Construction should be complete by the end of March 2023.
NOTE** Highway 2 SBL and NBL traffic will not be disrupted**
This project is an Alberta Transportation project.

Lacombe County Supports Mirror Community Trail

At the January 26, 2023, Lacombe County Council meeting, Council approved the creation of a proposed trail, which was presented by the Mirror Community Network.
“Lacombe County is very excited to be able to provide this new amenity in the Hamlet of Mirror,” said Lacombe County Reeve Barb Shepherd. “By supporting the creation of the Mirror Community Trail, we are working with our residents to build a new way to explore nature and live healthier lives.”

Lacombe County reminds ratepayers that fire permit season starts on March 1, 2023. Burning without a fire permit will result in a hefty fine.
