Construction complete on Bridge 1454

Bridge construction on Township Road 411A, over the Medicine River near the Leedale Colony on the west side of Lacombe County (Division 7) is now complete and has opened ahead of schedule.
The structure - a bridge from the 1950s - was removed. In its place, a new, wider bridge was constructed, resulting in enhancements to the road approach and the removal of weight restrictions.

Municipal property assessments and tax notices were recently mailed out to Lacombe County ratepayers. Residents can expect to receive their 2024 notices in the coming weeks. If you have not received your notice by June 1, 2024, please contact Lacombe County's Assessment Department at 403-782-6601.

Effective immediately, Lacombe County’s Fire restriction has been lifted, thanks to the ongoing moisture conditions that have improved within the area.
