If you receive a request from our office, please assist us in preparing the property assessment by providing as much of the information as possible. Completing these forms assists the County’s assessors in collecting important information about the property characteristics including buildings or other structures, the land and the usages occurring on the property (e.g. residential, home business, farm, etc). This helps minimize the need for physical property inspections and reduces inconvenience for property owners. This information is collected for assessment purposes pursuant to Municipal Government Act (MGA) s.294 & s.295. It is necessary to maintain an accurate and fair assessed value for your property.

Lacombe County is required to prepare an assessed value using mass appraisal, reflecting the typical market values, as of July 1 each year, for each property in the municipality. We are requesting the income, expense, and vacancy data related to your property to better monitor non-residential real estate market values in Lacombe County (assessed values are supported by market data including sale prices, rents and expenses, vacancy rate, etc.).
