Overnight Bridge Closure and Detour on Highway 766 South of Eckville

Motorists are advised of a scheduled overnight closure of the Highway 766 bridge approximately 1 km south of Eckville to accommodate bridge construction activities.

Closure Details

• Date: August 15, 2026
• Time: 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
• Location: Highway 766 bridge south of Eckville

During the closure, the bridge will be closed to all traffic. A detour route utilizing local roads will be in place and clearly marked with temporary traffic control devices and directional signage to safely guide motorists around the work area.

The detour route will follow Township Road 392, Range Road 31, Township Road 393, and Range Road 41. 

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time, and follow all posted signage while travelling through the area.
