Construction Notifications

Lacombe County will begin road construction on Range Road 25‑0 (from Twp Rd 40‑2 to Twp Rd 39‑4) starting Monday, May 11, 2026.

Lacombe County Paving Projects are scheduled to begin May 1, 2026. This year, we have contracted Central City Asphalt Ltd. to pave a number of roads in Lacombe County.

Lacombe County will start a bridge replacement project on Bridge File 1966, located at SW 14-38-25 W5M), on Range Road 25-2 over the Jones Creek. 

Lacombe County is excited to announce the construction of the Gull Lake Regional Trail, a 14-kilometre pathway that will transform recreation opportunities and strengthen connections between communities around Gull Lake.

Lacombe County has completed construction on Range Road 3-1, from Township Road 41-2 north for 1.25 miles, and is providing notice to adjacent landowners

Lacombe County is notifying residents of an upcoming road construction project starting on October 8, 2025 on Rge Rd 24-4 (West 28 & 33-40-24 W4 from Hwy 12 to Twp Rd 41-0).

Bridge Restrictions are in place on Highway 50 over Parlby Creek (BF 1423, near Tees) following a recent inspection by Alberta Transportation.

Lacombe County has begun bridge replacement work on Bridge File 364, located at SW 1-41-27 W4 (Tributary to Whelp Brook). As part of this project, a section of Rge Rd 27-1 will be closed to through traffic and accessible to local traffic only.
