Construction Notifications

Please be advised that the Highway 766 bridge south of Eckville will be closed to all traffic on August 15, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. while scheduled bridge construction work is completed.

Residents of the Hamlet of Mirror will see significant infrastructure work beginning this month as Lacombe County undertakes several upgrades and repairs to the community’s water and sewer systems.

Heavy rainfall has significantly impacted gravel roads across Lacombe County. All gravel roads are currently in poor condition. Crews will begin work as soon as conditions improve enough to allow safe equipment operation.

Lacombe County will begin road construction on Range Road 25‑0 (from Twp Rd 40‑2 to Twp Rd 39‑4) starting Monday, May 11, 2026.

Lacombe County Paving Projects are scheduled to begin May 1, 2026. This year, we have contracted Central City Asphalt Ltd. to pave a number of roads in Lacombe County.
