Heavy rainfall has significantly impacted gravel roads across Lacombe County. Motorists can expect soft, muddy surfaces and challenging driving conditions.
All gravel roads in Lacombe County are currently in poor condition. Crews will begin work as soon as conditions improve enough to allow safe equipment operation.
Until then, please use caution when driving and adjust travel plans accordingly.
Currently, the fire risk in Lacombe County is LOW, and no fire advisories, restrictions, or bans are in place. Please continue to exercise caution and always prioritize fire prevention.
Lacombe County is holding a PUBLIC HEARING to hear your feedback on the proposed bylaw changes that would update lands designated as Reserve under previous iterations of the Municipal Government Act (MGA) to the appropriate designation under the current MGA and designate lands which are currently being managed as Municipal Reserve, Environmental Reserve, and Public Utility Lot to the appropriate designation.
