PUBLIC INPUT | Have your say on the Draft Beef Cattle Code of Practice

The public consultation period is now open for the Draft Code of Practice for the Care and Handling of Beef Cattle.

Producers, stakeholders, and the public are invited to review the draft and provide feedback to help shape the final Code, expected to be released in 2027.

✅ Feedback must be submitted through the online system
🗓 Consultation closes June 12, 2026

This is an important opportunity to ensure the Code reflects the diversity and practicality of Canadian beef production systems.
