Working Well Workshops

If you own a water well, understanding how it works and how to protect it is essential. Alberta Environment and Protected Areas is offering a free virtual workshop series to help well owners learn how to properly manage and maintain their wells.

The Working Well Workshops cover everything you need to know about your groundwater source — from understanding how your well functions, to preventing contamination, testing water quality, and keeping your water safe.

Upcoming Workshops

These free online sessions run from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and are open to all Albertans:

• Workshop 1: Getting to Know Your Well – October 22, 2025

• Workshop 2: Maintaining & Managing Your Well – October 29, 2025

• Workshop 3: Sampling, Testing & Treating – November 5, 2025

You are encouraged to attend all three sessions for a complete understanding of your well and groundwater management.
