Provincial Safety Codes and Building Permits

In addition to the development permit, other permits are required such as building, electrical, gas, plumbing, and private sewage permits. These permits ensure that your development occurs in accordance with any relevant provincial regulation. Building without the proper permits and inspections can also lead to unsafe conditions and costly repairs in the future.

Lacombe County does not issue safety code permits. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure their development meets all provincial safety code regulations.
