Lacombe County is taking a more proactive approach to economic development that helps bring the County’s corporate mission to life. In the past, economic development was primarily connected to planning and development, with the                        Municipal Development Plan guiding how the County grows. The Economic Development Strategy builds on this strong foundation by helping local businesses succeed, encouraging responsible investment and supporting employers with their workforce needs.
