Currently, the fire risk in Lacombe County is LOW, and no fire advisories, restrictions, or bans are in place. Please continue to exercise caution and always prioritize fire prevention.
Effective immediately, a Fire Restriction is in effect for all of Lacombe County due to exceptionally dry, windy conditions and a lack of foreseeable precipitation. This Fire Restriction may be upgraded to a Fire Ban at any time and will remain in effect until conditions improve.
Benalto Agri Services is once again partnering with Cleanfarms to host a collection day for the 2025 Unwanted Pesticides and Old Livestock/Equine Medication Roundup, on Friday, Octobner 10 from 9AM - 4PM.

Each year, lives are lost or forever changed because of rail-related incidents — most of which are preventable. From September 15 to 21, 2025, Rail Safety Week reminds all of us in Lacombe County to take extra care when travelling near railway crossings or working close to tracks.
Bridge Restrictions are in place on Highway 50 over Parlby Creek (BF 1423, near Tees) following a recent inspection by Alberta Transportation.
Lacombe County has begun bridge replacement work on Bridge File 364, located at SW 1-41-27 W4 (Tributary to Whelp Brook). As part of this project, a section of Rge Rd 27-1 will be closed to through traffic and accessible to local traffic only.
