October 5-11, 2025 is National Fire Prevention Week, and this year's theme is “Charge into Fire Safety™: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home.”

These boards are vital to ensuring fair and independent decision-making on matters such as development, subdivisions, stop orders, and property assessment complaints.

Effective immediately, a Fire Restriction is in effect for all of Lacombe County due to exceptionally dry, windy conditions and a lack of foreseeable precipitation. This Fire Restriction may be upgraded to a Fire Ban at any time and will remain in effect until conditions improve.
