Lacombe County residents will head to the polls this fall as part of Alberta’s municipal election on Monday, October 20, 2025.
October 5-11, 2025 is National Fire Prevention Week, and this year's theme is “Charge into Fire Safety™: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home.”
Lacombe County is currently accepting applications for the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) and the Assessment Review Board (ARB). These boards are vital to ensuring fair and independent decision-making on matters such as development, subdivisions, stop orders, and property assessment complaints.
Effective immediately, a Fire Restriction is in effect for all of Lacombe County due to exceptionally dry, windy conditions and a lack of foreseeable precipitation. This Fire Restriction may be upgraded to a Fire Ban at any time and will remain in effect until conditions improve.
