NOTICE OF PROPERTY INSPECTION: Lacombe County municipal Assessors appreciate your cooperation while we continuously review and visit properties throughout the municipality. Inspections are necessary to verify property information to ensure accurate and equitable assessments. Inspections are completed during weekdays (M-F) 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Our Assessors carry identification and will present it upon request. Lacombe County's Assessment Services ensure that all properties and businesses in Lacombe County are assessed to ensure an equitable distribution of taxes.

This process establishes the value of a property in relation to similar properties and does not in itself generate property taxes. Property taxes are generated when the Provincial (school), Municipal and other requisitioning body's (seniors/assisted living organizations) tax rates are applied to the assessed value of your property. The municipal tax rate is based on the amount of revenue required for local programs and services.
