Resident Environmental Sustainability Program

Each year, Lacombe County subsidizes an initiative for Lacombe County property owners to help them achieve their environmental goals.

Previously, we provided:

• 2021 and 2022: rain barrels were sold to residents to help them collect rainwater for their gardens and other outdoor watering needs
• 2023 and 2024: we sold trees for residents to purchase
• 2025 and 2026: we subsidized FoodCyclers (countertop composters) to residents, to help reduce the amount of waste going into local landfills.
