Environmental Plans

The Environmental Management Plan is an internally focused guiding document that helps provide direction to Lacombe County staff and Councillors with respect to the County's environmental initiatives. The Plan outlines the specific framework by which Lacombe County carries out environmental stewardship.

While the Plan is internally-focused, meaning that all targets, goals, and expectations will be placed on the County as an organization as opposed to the general public, it provides the residents of the County an opportunity to become familiar with the environmental priorities of the County.

Environmental Management Plan

Each year a new Environmental Action Plan is compiled to meet our goals set out in our Environmental Management Plan (EMP). The Plan lists and monitors the progress of specific actionable items resulting from the Environmental Management Plan.
