Requests are mailed throughout the year to property owners of all types of property including residential, non-residential, manufacturing, and farm. If you receive a request from our office, please assist us in preparing the property assessment by providing as much of the information as possible.
Completing these forms assists the County’s assessors in collecting important information about the property characteristics including buildings or other structures, the land and the usages occurring on the property (e.g. residential, home business, farm, etc). This helps minimize the need for physical property inspections and reduces inconvenience for property owners.
This information is collected for assessment purposes pursuant to Municipal Government Act (MGA) s.294 & s.295. It is necessary to maintain an accurate and fair assessed value for your property.
- Failure to provide the requested information prior to the response date may result in an inability to make a complaint to the Assessment Review Board against the property assessment.
- An Assessor will prepare your property assessment using any available information if you choose not to respond to the request (or any portion of it).
- An Assessor may follow-up incomplete submissions or to clarity information received.
If you choose to complete the request using a fillable pdf, please be sure to enter the roll number. If there are multiple residences, please include the residence number.
